On October 9, 2024, the Kazakhstan Physical Society (KPS) and the Hong Kong Physical Society (PSHK) signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at establishing a joint partnership and fostering close international relations.

 

On October 9, 2024, the Kazakhstan Physical Society (KPS) and the Hong Kong Physical Society (PSHK) signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at establishing a joint partnership and fostering close international relations. The memorandum creates a legal basis for cooperation between the countries focused on:

  1. Exchange of scientific personnel, organization of internships for employees, and exchange of personnel for conducting jointly organized projects;
  2. Joint research activities and joint participation in grants allocated by state, international, public, and private funds and organizations;
  3. Organization of scientific meetings and symposia; joint participation in and holding of scientific and summer schools with the involvement of specialists and students;
  4. Publication of articles, reports, and other scientific materials in the periodicals of partners
  5. Exchange of scientific information, publications, materials, and knowledge, and organizing access to research centers and facilities for conducting research
  6. Attracting leading scientists and teachers to supervise the research work of master's and PhD students at partner universities.

The document was signed by Tolegen Kozhamkulov, President of the Kazakhstan Physical Society (KPS), on behalf of the KPS, and Sunny Xin Wang, representative of the Physical Society of Hong Kong (PSHK).
