The international conference "Abdildin Readings" brought together the world's leading physicists in honor of the 85th birthday of Academician M.M. Abdildin.
The International Conference on Current Problems of Modern Physics “Abdildin Readings,” dedicated to the 85th anniversary of one of Kazakhstan’s outstanding physicists, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Meirkhan Mubarakovich Abdildin.
The conference was organized by Al-Farabi Kazakh National University; Asia-Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics; Kazakhstan Physical Society; Institute of Nuclear Physics.
More than 70 scientists from 9 countries participated in the international conference: Japan, Korea, Italy, Czech Republic, Denmark, Mexico, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and others, along with specialists in the field of physics, students, and the scientist’s family and friends.
The International Conference on Current Issues of Modern Physics was opened by the member of the KazNU Board of Trustees — Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Lyazzat Kalymbekovna Erkinbayeva, who introduced the biography of Meirkhan Mubarakovich and spoke about his scientific achievements.
The conference topics cover the main directions of modern physics, including: theoretical physics, nuclear physics and particle physics, astrophysics and cosmology, cosmic rays, plasma physics, condensed matter physics, thermal physics, biophysics, medical physics, educational, methodological and philosophical issues.
This conference will undoubtedly make a significant contribution to cooperation between international partners in the field of physics, the coordination of high-level research on current topics in physics in an international context, and also brings together fruitful collaboration between active researchers and talented representatives of the younger generation.
